All sales are final

No returns, no exchanges

Once you sign your purchase paperwork, the sale is final, whether you drive the car home from our lot or we deliver it, except where the law requires. We don't offer a trial period or a cooling-off period.

Sold as-is unless the Buyers Guide says otherwise

Every car has a Buyers Guide posted on its window. It shows whether the car is sold as-is or with a dealer warranty, and it becomes part of your sales contract. Buying remotely? We'll send you a copy to review before you sign.

Some cars come with limited repair coverage, for example during a promotion. If yours does, you get its written terms before you sign, and the Buyers Guide shows whether it's a dealer warranty. It's for repairs, not a change-of-mind return.

If the Buyers Guide says As Is, the car is sold with all faults and no dealer warranty. After you buy, repairs are your cost unless a warranty or service contract covers them. Any factory warranty the car still has, and any lemon-law or recall rights, come from the manufacturer and aren't affected by this policy.

Repair coverage: add a service contract

To protect yourself from repair bills, add an optional vehicle service contract, often called an extended warranty, when you buy. Plans come from VERO Protect, USACoverage and Gold Standard Automotive Network. See the plans.

• Covered repairs are handled and paid by the plan provider, not Miran Motors, under your contract's terms, deductible and exclusions.
• It's a repair plan only. It doesn't let you return or exchange the car, or get back what you paid for the car.
• It's optional, and not every car qualifies for every plan. Through us, coverage is added when you buy, so decide before you sign.
• Cancelling the service contract itself follows that contract's own terms.

Be sure before you buy

• Test drive the car. Buying for delivery? You're welcome to see and drive it at our Chantilly lot first.
• Read the Carfax report (linked on the listing, or ask us) and the car's Buyers Guide.
• Want your own mechanic to look at the car? Ask us before you buy.
• Check for open safety recalls by entering the VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
• Ask every question, and get any promise in writing.

Hold deposits

A hold deposit holds the car for you for 3 days and is applied in full to your purchase. If you decide not to buy, it isn't refunded. If the car becomes unavailable through no fault of your own, we refund it in full within 5 business days. We also refund it where the law requires.

Your rights under the law

This policy doesn't take away any right the law gives you. For example:

• If you took the car home before your financing was final and the lender doesn't approve your contract as written, you can pay another way, or either of us can cancel. If the sale is cancelled, you return the car within 24 hours of our notice, in the same condition (normal wear is fine), and we return your down payment and any trade-in.
• If we can't transfer the title to you within the time Virginia law allows, you may return the car for a refund.
• If we didn't give you the signed Buyers Guide and the warranty or as-is disclosure Virginia law requires, you may be able to cancel the sale.
• If the car was misrepresented to you, the law protects you.
• If we gave you a written warranty, or you bought a service contract from us within 90 days of your purchase, implied warranties under your state's laws may give you additional rights.
